All three of these black beams we renovated were completely different types of wood. The fire place Beam is an old oak beam which had only been painted a couple of times. Whereas the large beam above it had layers and layers of paint on, hiding all of the texture. The beam in the other room was a much more modern, smoother beam with very little texture. Nevertheless, using our unique process we were able to achieve a light Antique Oak finish on all of the beams.
This restoration was completed without any stripping or blasting and with absolutely no mess!
