Black Beams to Antique Oak

Our 1st ever thatched house renovation – and it did not disappoint! This beautiful house was built in the 1500s 😯 still holding its character and charm we were able to bring the black beams back to life! Restoring them to a natural oak finish. 🤎

The beams in this landing and bedroom still had the original twine wrapped around them, holding the thach down – how cool!

With its wonky walls and floors, we’ve had a great time on this renovation.
