Our client had began sanding all of the black paint off the beams, but soon figured that the desired finish was not being achieved. They were left with beams which had been cut from different types of wood (which looked very miss matched) and beams with patches where some of the paint simply would not come off. (This can be seen in some of the pictures).
The sanding also made the beams flat by sanding away a lot of the natural grain. Luckily our process can pick out even the faintest of textures and enhances it to help achieve a natural oak finish.
